Junkyard is a town that never stops raining. Serf, the main character and a member of the Embryon tribe, sets out with four companions for Nirvana, a land accessible only to Junkyard champions. They devote themselves to combating the never-ending resistance of other tribes. A mysterious object, the Pod, appears out of nowhere amid the chaos. The Pod emits countless spheres of light that infect Serf and his companions, awakening their demonic powers. Within their faint conscience, an unimaginable battle is taking place. They develop a desire to rip the flesh and shatter the bones of their transformed enemies. Their instincts command them to consume everything in their path. Serf and his comrades had previously only known battle, but they are experiencing new emotions for the first time. Sera, a dark-haired girl, comes to their aid at that point. Although she has no idea where she came from, she possesses an extraordinary power: the ability to control the party’s demonic transformation. They are given orders from the Church of Karma to travel to Nirvana, accompanied by the dark-haired girl. “Those who reach Nirvana first will be crowned Junkyard champions.” The struggle becomes more intense, and they discover that the girl holds the key to solving the mystery. True terror, however, awaits Serf’s party.
