The live-action adaptation of the 1994 animated film of the same name, Meet the Robinsons, takes place after the events of the original film. The player assumes the role of Wilbur Robinson, who returns home from a trip to ancient Egypt in his time machine only to discover that the Bowler Hat Guy has stolen his second-time machine. As a result, Wilbur must travel through time to prevent the Bowler Hat Guy from stealing his second-time machine. It turns out that things don’t go as planned, and they return to a future in which Magma Industries Corporation has gained control of Robinson Industries and is now engaged in a fight against Queen Lizzie and her army of robot ants. Emperor Stanley is the leader of Magma Industries Corporation. After that, the ants were successful in stealing the time machine, and Wilbur was left to figure out what had happened.
During gameplay, you will have to battle your way past hordes of foes in order to reach and complete your objectives. You will find health improvements along the way, in addition to components that can be used to construct new gadgets such as the charge glove, the disassembler glove, and the havoc glove. During the course of playing the game, the player will also be required to compete in a number of optional minigames in order to advance. Among these is one that requires getting bubbles across a course, and another that requires removing tiles from a wall in order to get to a goal that is hidden behind the tiles.
