Asterix & Obelix XXL was released in 2004. The French comic book Asterix is about a Gaulish warrior who fought the Romans in 50 BC. “XXL” is an initialism for “extra large,” meaning the game has a lot of extra elements. The PlayStation 2 game was called Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix in the US. Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum followed the year after.
