At the start of the game, the white star can endure five blows before being destroyed. For the player’s star to expand, it must collide with a blue star of the same size. Gray stars are less in size than the player’s star. The collision with these stars has no effect on the size of the white star, but if the player controls the white star into precisely the perfect position, the gray star will orbit the white star and become a satellite. The red stars are noticeably more prominent than the white stars. The ability of the white star to circle red stars makes traveling across space simpler. The target star will glow orange and become capable of becoming a satellite if the white star gets large enough. As soon as this happens, a little crescent star appears, and if it successfully orbits the white star, the player receives additional points.

Furthermore, gathering all of the different crescent stars is the aim of unlocking new galaxies and is essential to completing the game with a 100% completion rate. If it circles the white star rather than collides with the orange star, the round is judged successful even if the collision results in a hit loss. The player controls the star by pressing the A and B buttons on the Wii Remote to employ gravity and anti-gravity to draw it towards or push it away from the gravitational wells of other cosmic objects, respectively. Players must avoid colliding with red stars or other floating objects like asteroids, as well as being sucked into black holes since this will result in a hit loss (and in the case of black holes, the entire level must be repeated).
